Transition
Welcome! We are very excited to meet our future Sacred Heart pupils and to get to know you over the coming five years. We know that starting Secondary school can be a daunting time and we want to do everything we can to help you through the exciting move from Primary to Secondary School.
There is no need to worry - you may already have visited us for sports events, lessons, enterprise days and other activities; if you have, you already know Sacred Heart is a friendly caring school and we can't wait to meet you again. Take a look through our welcome information below:

Some of our staff will have already visited your school, attending your introduction assemblies and transition events. Soon, you will be invited to a series of events here at Sacred Heart to help with your transition from Year 6 to Year 7. By the time you come to us, you will know us well.
At Sacred Heart, we have an excellent pastoral system of care and our visitors frequently comment on the spontaneous friendliness and politeness of our pupils and their smart appearance, on the good relationships evident between adults and young people.
Our Pastoral Leaders will support you through your first year with us and welcome you from our Year 6 Transition Days on Thursday, 26th June and Friday, 27th June. There will be a Transition Evening for all new parents on Thursday 26th June.
