Year 7 artists are flying

 Well done to our young artists in 7S who have been working hard on their observational drawing skills, studying Joe MacGown’s insect illustrations.

Joe MacGowan is a Mississippi artist who creates chaotic assemblages of strange mutated creatures, crowded surreal landscapes, and mandala-like designs using imaginative imagery and random patterns.

MacGown’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, as well as in international group shows throughout America, Canada, the Philippines, Russia, Serbia, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and here in the UK.
