Remembrance Day 2024
Sacred Heart pupils donned their unforms with pride on Monday 11th November to show their respect to all the service men and women who gave their lives for our freedom during conflict.
We held a very special Remembrance Day memorial in our atrium, led by Father Dominic and some of our cadets.
We think that our art department's latest installation is especially poignant and beautiful - falling petals helped us all to take a quiet moment of reflection together whilst prayers of gratitude were said.

Following on from our service, pupils joined Mr O'Hagan and Father Dominic in laying crosses and poppies in our 'sacred heart' at the front of school.
This was done in gratitude for those who have given their lives for freedom.
Pupils from St Edmund's Catholic Primary School and Ursuline Catholic Primary School joined us for this special memorial and as poppies were laid with crosses in our sacred Heart at the front of school and across the building, silence fell.
